Seth, thanks for this. As you know, I've been hearing amazing things about your dad since I began hearing them from *my* dad, when your parents were still in Montreal. Every time I read something more about him, there it is again -- another essential detail that just fills in more about what a remarkable human and human*itarian* he was, about the dedicated life of service he led.
I guess being routinely amazing is just something that runs in the family chez vous. But I think I've known that for a very long time. (I've just never said it out loud in the comments before. :) )
Hugs to you all, and may his memory be for blessing.
I am so sorry for your loss, Seth. Your dad was a wonderful man who made the world better in countless ways. He will be remembered, honoured and cherished by all who knew him, and by many who only know of his transformative work and reputation. I am sending my love and virtual hugs to you and your family.
So moving. He sounds like a true hero, learning from midwives and helping to teach the best practices known for natural birth. He had courage to stand for Gaza among his colleagues. I have Klein name in my family tree so I dream of being a long lost cousin!
Heartfelt condolences to you and Naomi and your family on the passing of your Dad. I know this is a super hard time having lost my father (also a doctor) a number of years ago. Wishing you time and space to go through the grieving process and find solace.
It was wonderful to read about your Dad - what an amazing person he was - thank you for such a beautiful tribute.
